# Options Funding > Options Funding (Options Funding LLC) is an options trader evaluation and funding program. Plans run from $25K to $100K simulated accounts. New Growth and Express purchases allow buying options only; existing accounts retain their purchased strategy permissions. Growth uses end-of-day drawdown and Express uses intraday drawdown. Pro allows buying and selling supported options, with risk-adjusted eligible profits for passing and payouts. A winning round can earn zero eligible profit. Funded uses a 3 percent end-of-day trailing loss allowance. Your loss line is saved when your second payout request is verified. Once that payout is paid, trading profits stop pushing that saved line higher. Withdrawals preserve your remaining loss room. The normal trailing rule applies while a payout is pending. Cancelled or rejected requests do not lock the line. This funded benefit also applies to existing Pro accounts. Your accepted prices and evaluation terms stay the same. Both phases require at least 5 positive eligible-profit completion days and 20 percent best-day consistency. - [Eligible profit](https://optionsfunding.co/pro-program-terms): All net trading profits remain in the trading balance and may grow buying power. When all positions are closed, a profitable round earns max(0, net profit minus risk adjustment); a net losing round reduces eligible profit by its full loss. The risk adjustment is 8 times accumulated positive increases in squared assessed portfolio risk, divided by the phase's initial dollar loss allowance, rounded up to a cent. Partial closes do not split a round. A winning round can earn zero eligible profit. Supported finite-loss groups use true maximum expiry loss; unlimited short calls use the published stress calculation, which does not limit their possible loss. - [Pro payouts and billing](https://optionsfunding.co/pro-program-terms): The trader receives 80 percent of approved eligible-profit withdrawals, also limited to 50 percent of remaining raw account profit and the published payout caps and minimums. Pro has no activation fee, funded subscription, reset, automatic Live transfer or lifetime payout cap. Evaluation billing ends on funded activation or evaluation failure. Checkout shows the first charge and renewal amount under the applied offer. Earlier subscriptions retain their purchased terms. ## Program Rules (Growth and Express) - [Rules overview](https://optionsfunding.co/rules): The full rule set across Evaluation, Funded, and Live phases. - [Profit target](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#profit-target): Growth: 12 percent of account size. Express: 10 percent of account size. - [Trailing drawdown](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#drawdown): Growth: 6 percent of account size. Express: 5 percent of account size. - [Drawdown lock](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#drawdown-lock): Growth and Express funded accounts lock at starting capital. Pro saves the verified second-payout request line and activates that lock when the payout is paid; withdrawals remain neutral. Live has its own allocated-capital lock rule. There is no evaluation lock. - [Minimum trading days](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#profit-target): There is no minimum trading days requirement on either plan, and no time limit to pass. - [Qualifying winning days](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#qualifying-winning-days): Growth and Express funded accounts need 8 qualifying winning days in the current payout cycle before a payout can be requested. A qualifying winning day is a trading day finished with realized profit of at least $100 on a 25K account, $150 on a 50K, or $200 on a 100K, the same on Growth and Express at the same account size. Flat days, down days, and unrealized gains on open positions do not count. The 8 days do NOT have to be consecutive: any 8 qualifying days inside the cycle count, in any order, and losing, flat, or non-trading days in between never reset the count. The count resets each time a payout is paid, and the new cycle has to build its own 8 qualifying winning days before another payout can be requested. - [Account Reset](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#redemption): All plans (Growth and Express). A reset costs 10% less than what you pay for that account, so it is always cheaper than starting a new one. Before the first monthly renewal on that account, that is the price you paid for it at checkout; from the first renewal on, it is your monthly price. If we cannot match the account to a subscription price, it is priced off the current list price instead, at ten percentage points deeper than whatever sale is running that day. It restores a breached account to its original starting balance with the drawdown floor back at starting balance minus the max drawdown. There is no deadline on a reset. Each account can have up to three paid resets, for as long as its subscription stays active. The limit of three paid resets per account applies from October 6, 2026, 12:45 AM ET. Paid resets an account had before then count toward it, and so does the earlier flat-price redemption, so an account that already had three or more cannot buy another. Once an account has reached its limit of three paid resets, another is not sold for it. A free reset credit can still be used on it, its next monthly renewal still resets it while the subscription is active, and a new account can be opened at any time. Evaluation accounts only: a funded account that breaches is closed permanently and cannot be reset. - [Payouts](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#payouts): 80 percent profit split, 50 percent withdrawal rate per payout in Funded, caps scale with payout number. A payout also needs 8 qualifying winning days in the payout cycle. - [Activation fee](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#activation-fee): a flat $129 for every account size, charged before your funded account activates and fully refunded on your first payout. - [Monthly billing](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#activation-fee): Billed monthly during the Evaluation phase; the monthly subscription stops when you activate your funded account, so there is no monthly fee during the Funded phase. - [Same day funding](https://optionsfunding.co/how-it-works): Pass the evaluation, activate, and your funded account is issued the same day. - [Discount codes](https://optionsfunding.co/#pricing): Referral and affiliate codes applied on or after July 22, 2026 apply to every monthly charge until your account is funded, when billing stops. Referral and affiliate codes applied before July 22, 2026 apply to the first month only and do not change retroactively. Other promo codes vary by code, and checkout states the duration before you pay. - [Overnight holds](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#overnight): Allowed in all phases on all plans. At the Live stage what you hold overnight is capped at 70% of your remaining drawdown room, and in the last five minutes before each market closes the firm closes only enough to bring you back under that cap. The firm closes whole positions at a time, never part of one: every option you hold on one underlying with the same expiration date and option class is one position, and your shares of that underlying, or the other expiration of a calendar or a diagonal, go with it. - [Strategies](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#strategies): New Growth and Express purchases allow buying options only. Existing accounts retain their purchased strategy permissions. Pro allows buying and selling supported options. There is no firm-wide ban on selling supported index options and no minimum opening delta. Selling requires an account with selling permissions; the ticker whitelist, supported-contract requirements and account risk limits still apply. The Live stage permits spreads and naked short puts, subject to the account's margin and drawdown rules and the firm's right to buy a naked option back, on the terms the Live Program Rules set. A naked short call is not permitted at the Live stage, and the broker refuses the order. - [Expiring positions](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#expiring-positions): Auto-closed at 3:55:00 PM ET for most tickers, and 4:10:00 PM ET for SPY, QQQ, IWM, DIA on expiration day. - [Payout balance rule](https://optionsfunding.co/rules#post-payout-balance): Once you receive your first payout, your balance at request time must be at least $1 above the balance you last requested a payout at, less any amount your payout cap prevented you from taking, up to the size of that payout. ## How it works - [How it works](https://optionsfunding.co/how-it-works): Step-by-step from purchase through Evaluation, Funded, and Live. ## Trading - [Ticker whitelist](https://optionsfunding.co/ticker-whitelist): Searchable list of approved options tickers. Evaluation and Funded accounts only; the Live stage is not limited by ticker. - [Live Program Rules](https://optionsfunding.co/live-program-rules): US listed stock options and US listed index options, on any ticker. There is no symbol whitelist at the Live stage, and same-day expiries are permitted. Stock itself is closing only. You can close or reduce a stock position you already hold, including shares you were assigned, and you cannot open a stock position or add to one. Spreads are permitted, credit or debit, including vertical spreads, iron condors, butterflies and calendars, and so is selling a put without cover, a naked short put. Selling a call without cover, a naked short call, is not permitted, and the broker refuses the order. A calendar or a diagonal, whose legs expire on different dates, is measured one expiry at a time at an overnight checkpoint, so its short leg is measured there as if it had no cover, and the whole position can be closed there, its short leg first. If assignment, exercise, or the expiry or closure of another leg leaves you holding a naked short option, a put or a call, closing it is always permitted. Everything else is refused at the broker before the order reaches the market: futures, futures options, foreign exchange, bonds, mutual funds, metals, crypto, CFDs, warrants, structured products, event contracts and non-US products. ## FAQ and learning - [FAQ overview](https://optionsfunding.co/faq): Curated index of every FAQ topic below. - [Pro](https://optionsfunding.co/faq/writer): Buy and sell options with one evaluation and risk-adjusted eligible profits. - [Getting Started](https://optionsfunding.co/faq/getting-started): New here?
